A Florida native, David began his real estate career in 1992 in Key West, Florida, selling residential real estate, including on-site condominium sales, and soon joined the Hyatt Vacation Marketing Corporation selling fractional and whole ownership condominiums. With Hyatt, he moved quickly from sales executive to Sales and Marketing Director and became Hyatt’s go-to guy for sales agent training and the start-up of new resorts in areas such as Lake Tahoe; Puerto Rico; Beaver Creek and Aspen, Colorado; and both Naples and Sarasota, Florida. During this time, he gained a comprehensive understanding of the many facets of the real estate business. While launching multi-million dollar resorts, David became well versed in the business side of development, from projections and budgeting to hiring, training, and marketing. On the sales side, David was responsible for overseeing tens of millions in annual sales, while playing an instrumental role in growing the business from a 10 million to 100 million dollar a year residential club. He developed strong and lasting relationships with his clients, helping them navigate their purchases, as well as advising them on rental and real estate investment concerns. With the Sarasota Real Estate Company, David hopes to give his clients the benefit of this expertise, helping Sarasota homebuyers, sellers, investors and developers find success in Sarasota’s vibrant real estate market. David graduated from Tulane University in 1990. He is a member of the Florida Association of Realtors and a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker. David lives in Sarasota with his wife and two boys, where they enjoy the beaches, waters, and cultural offerings of our gulfside community every chance they get.
